Founder & Principal
Katherine's entire career has been centered on the art and power of communication. She began working in London's advertising industry before returning to California to become an entertainment publicist, and has been helping people tell their stories ever since. Working on production crews as a publicist, she gathered extensive screen credits, including Pretty Woman, Lethal Weapon, Kindergarten Cop, From Dusk Till Dawn, Predator, Internal Affairs, Blood In Blood Out and Dead Man Walking, building strong professional relationships and gaining invaluable experience in the collaborative process of filmmaking.
She served as a VP at Columbia Pictures under the leadership of David Puttnam and David Picker, where she led the groundbreaking marketing release campaign for La Bamba. As National Director of Communications for Screen Actors Guild, she supervised the creation and launch of the SAG Indie campaign, enabling independent filmmakers to access the Guild's low budget agreements to hire union actors.
Transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Katherine was SVP Communications for workforce development agency JVS SoCal, empowering individuals from underserved communities to achieve economic independence.
For over a decade Katherine was a pro bono media consultant to the legal team of William Kuenzel, who served 34 years on Alabama's Death Row for a crime he did not commit. Currently, she serves as a member of the Advisory Boards for the Department of Film, TV and Media Studies at Cal State LA and for the education nonprofit Get Lit-Words Ignite. She is also a member of the Board of Governors at City of Hope.
